To all the Men who struggle; A Sermon.
I know the world is tough, that we all fall short of our goals in life. A lot of us on here are ambitious, passionate and we desire something larger than ourselves. We are critical of ourselves and the burden of the all the worldly things in our life weighs us down like a poorly packed ruck.
But.
You are here.
You are seeking out those who are like minded.
You know what right looks like.
With that, our verses for this Sunday.
Psalms 1:1-3 (NKJV)
“Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.”
This passage holds a special spot in my life, I was actually married to this verse as I told the pastor that this was my life verse. For good reason.
The assurance it provides is simple, if you spend a little of time in the word of God every morning and every night; everything you do shall prosper.
Everything.
As spending that precious time in the word of God will center you, guide you and enlighten you to His will.
Now, will you still struggle? Yes.
Will you fail? Yes.
Will the world (try to) crush you? Yes.
Just know that all you endeavor, in the end, shall prosper.
Enjoy your Sunday and as always...
May the Lord bless you;
May the Lord keep you;
May the Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you;
May the Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.
And in His name, Amen.
